Yes it will fit on ok. Pretty much a straight swap. How are you taking care of the fuel management side of things?

the turbo will work lovely on your car, but to get the most and to keep it safe the ecu will need to be mapped or tweaked if its been mapped in the past and going by the rolling road figures, it sounds like it has so would be fairly cheap. An uprated pump such as a walbro 255 is always a good idea especially on an aging car if you are still running the original.

you will need it mapped as soon as you fit the parts, driving without it being mapped can cause it top be lean or rich eventually going bang if your not very lucky

Should he a Vf28 your fitting? Not a tdo5? When your talking about 98 scoobys over the years most things have been changed, lot of owners dont have a clue when it come to thier cars, they repeat what the last owner told them and so on.

Yeah it should be a Vf28. Nice all round turbo. The injectors you have should be the yellow 440's which are usually go up to 330bhp. Some get upto 350. They are the same injectors as the sti of the same year. Fuel pump access is in the boot. Best to unbolt rear seat back too for easier access.
