Does anybody know if you can pass an MOT with just 1 cat fitted or do you need both for emissions?

I have a 95 import wrx with full de-cat just wondering if I will get away with just the centre cat as its the easiest to change?

If the cat is in good working order then you may pass but it will need to be very hot. I used to arrange with my garage for it to have the emmisions done first, pretty much as soon as i arrived.

Seen a few cars pass with just the downpipe cat, I didn't think early jdm cars had both. I know the late uk classic has both

My 98 passes with just a 100cel sports cat in the down pipe the local testing station does have to rev the *** off of the car for a few minutes before they take the reading to get it hot.
