Default Powerless WRX

Good day, i have a problem with my WRX, model year 2001 with a 2005 engine and 2007 turbine from all wrx parts. the 2001 engine blew up with the former owner and he swapped the above parts into it, and now when i buy it the car is pretty much "sluggish"

if i press lightly on the gas pedal it seem to be ok, with this "sluggish" feeling coming in around 3000 rpm to 4500 rpm after that it kicks like a horse with a bit of "choking".

if i floor it, then its basicly choking all the way.

so i was wandering, if anyone here could have the slightest idea what is bothering my scooby?

was suggested that it was the MAP, that i needed to remap it after the changes. could that be true that the map changes just from switching an engine?

sincerely and best regards
Opie
