Hey all

I found this box glued behind my instrument cluster. It's got loads of cables and connectors coming out of it and is cable tied and taped all over the place.

I'm not thinking I'm being tracked or anything... It may be a standard thing for all I know, it just looks like it's been thrown in badly and I'm curious to know what it is.

The car is a standard (as far as I know) 2003 Blobeye WRX.

Can't tell a lot from the pic, have you traced the wiring back to anything?

 

I would have said something to do with a tracker.

That IS the tracker.

 

As above tracker I'd say, did you not get any information about the tracker subscription or fitment when you bought the car?! certificates etc

 

Tracker it is then... Thanks for your input. I'm the fourth owner of the car, I think any documentation that came with it has been lost long ago, other than the excellent/low mileage service history.

Any idea's how I find out info on the tracker, may help my insurance renewal this month?

 

RAC Trackstar was fitted as standard if i recall on that age

 

Blimey, I'd hate to see something they fitted aftermarket.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing if I've already told the insurance company it has factory alarm etc it won't make a difference?
