Default Wiper arm refurb

Hi All,
The wiper arms on my V3 STI are looking a bit worse for ware now & spoiling the look of my very tidy classic. Can they be refurbed, is it worth doing & are there any after Market alternatives?
Many Thanks, Richard.

I'd sand them down a little to get the bubble-rust off first. Hammerite straight to rust is good.

Just about to do mine on the V3 type r I have. I'm etching them as previously advised and then finishing them with eastwoods underhood black from www.frost.co.uk
