Default Back firing problem

Hey guys,

Anyone got any ideas on my backfiring issue at low rpms?

The car was just started on this video Hense the little smoke

http://youtu.be/_yFBxUkNKeA

No hesitation or anything, seems to have started around this heat wave, I did have a new flex put on, convinced its smaller than the previous one though

Cant see the video as at work and have restricted internet.

Is it back fire or little pops and bangs?

Both to be honest mate, every now and then it will fire like a shotgun

Seems to be low rev range though, just when I'm easy on the accelerator or blip it slightly

Just veiwed the video on my phone. Blue with black boot?

If that is the correct video. Then it sounds "normal" to me. What exhaust system are you running. Has it been mapped. The pops and bangs your hearing are unburnt fuel being ignited.

Mine started doing it when I changed my back box. I loved it. Thing if my car popped and banged all the time ad get sick if it.

Well if that sounds normal then i feel a little better about it - just never seemed to do it that much before until its gotten warmer.

Yeah its fully mapped and its been fully decatted - i believe its got equal length headers on it though.

Changing to Pinks shortly so will be getting another remap then - so hopefully if it is running abit lean that and an oil change hopefully may sort it?

It doesnt sound like your running equal headers. I think if you were you would lose the scooby rumble. Not 100% tho. I would not worry about the pops and bangs, but mention it to your mapper to make sure everything is correct
