Think that's about right Tidgy, mine normally around 90-95 unless there is a bit of spirited driving and then around the 105 mark but soon goes down when you ease off

Yeh it's about right, Mine is a bit cooler due to oil cooler 80/90 then between 90-99 in play mode, I only know that as I have my warning set at 100 deg and it's not gone off yet but been very close but I would expect it to possibly get a bit higher due to the current weather

Im sure they say newages do run hotter than classics, mine shows 90-100 on the road. Will go up to 115 and i've seen 120 on track but even that's not THAT hot for synthetic oil. over 130 and i'd start to worry.

I pretty much found the same as Gaz, though my oil got up to 104 on a track day a couple of weeks back, though it was touching 30 degrees that day and Cadwell is a sun trap. Usually early 80's normal driving. Oil coolers FTW....

running slightly over 110 is totally normal when foot it flat for a long period but anything over 120 get a oil cooler, use quality oil not cheap ****, on normal idle 90 is wht is expected to be the norm
