OEM Recirc BOV modification?
has anyone made the stock BOV into a 50/50 BOV? currently running my stock BOV with the recirc pipe plugged to see how it runs venting to atmo and its not too bad, some idle fluctuation and has stalled a couple times reversing if i bring the revs up a bit so i was thinking i could drill a hole in the little elbow on the bottom of the BOV and maybe put in a threaded bung with a plug to cap it off for full recirc later on if wanted.
yes im aware venting 50/50 or venting to atmo has no benefits when compared to a recirc, etc, etc. but its my first turbo car and the novelty of venting to atmo will probably take a while to wear off lol
im looking into mapping myself and hopefully will be tuning the ECU for speed density using the MAP sensor which would cure all atmo BOV issues as well as issues with non standard intakes but for now im thinking 50/50 may lessen the idle fluctuations and associated issues with the standard MAF tune.

yea i know theres aftermarket units but why waste 100 tokens when i can mod the OEM unit as im very handy with modifying/making things, work in an engineering department in the local airport so forever retrofitting things and fixing this, that and the other on vehicles, the building itself, etc.
