Classic Impreza Sport Exhaust Help
Hi there, first post so go easy.
Recently brought myself a 98 impreza sport as a bit of a toy/second car when the misses steals the daily hack. Now, im after a backbox to improve the look of the rear end untill I can get some UEL headers and a full catback.
In the long run Im hoping to do the full exhaust, panel and then map it but thats another story. Anyway, my question.....
Will a turbo backbox with 2.5" pipework fit my scoob? I recall a friend having an STi (i think) exhaust from the cat back on his sport. Problem being I dont know if it had been modified and it was a full cat-back so this doesnt help me with regards to a backbox alone fitting my standard sport system.
If a full turbo cat-back would fit that would be better then nothing as they are ten a penny.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Russ

Non turbo bore size is 2.25" throughout whereas the turbo models start at 2.5" upwards (depending on spec)
Have a look at Hayward and Scott as they offer some nice options for the sport models.
If you are after a more ear-bleeding experience, have a look at Cobra as they too cater for the non-turbo models.
