What I mean is, when you press it its fine, but when you take your foot off, out doesn't come fully come up, you have flick it up the last inch or 2 with your foot....what's wrong

Is that what's wrong......so one of these times I'll press and it'll be buggered and that'll be that.....don't tell me it's inside the box, if it is I'm aswell with a new clutch as it'll need to taken out to get to it (if it's the same as the Saab I had years ago)

Thanks, I found it, it felt a wee bit slack to me, as if it's lost some strength or tension, maybe not though and that's the way it's meant to be, I'll put another one on though, I'm not going to a dealer for one though, I'll try the local ironmongers or b & q

Think you'll find it's a worn pedal pivot. Adjusting the pedal will help but ultimately you'll need a new pedal. Think there may be a bush too & a new bolt may be a good idea too.
