04 sti clunk/click/knock?
looking for some tech advise or just abit of previous experience.
My 04 uk sti seems to have a passenger side rear strange click/clunk noise on change of speed or direction. I would say it happens the most when letting of accelerator at low speeds and on take off?
Ive done alot of research and pinned it down to either rear driveshaft/axel nut or movement in rear driveshaft splines. I dont thinks its rear shocks as they were removed and regreased a while back.
I was going to just buy the nuts and get them retorqued but thought i would run it by the scoobynet massive first.

Scooby Regular
Here, try this link, may help.
I had that on my 54 plate blob STi years ago, turned out to be the torsion springs which take the weight of the boot / spoiler etc.
I put some pics up from my Hawk
