Default Standard v3 sti - 1996 Headgasket thickness

As above what is the standard thickness please guys. I think there is some confusion on this forum as different people say different sizes! Thanks

could you please post the answer here? I'm looking for the same thing
Thinking of using a new age block on the sti v3 heads, I'm wondering what gasket thickness I should use to keep compression the same.

Hi there your head gasket thickness would be differ t to mine as Newage pistons have a different dish cc size. Also the pistons sit below block I think jus check to confirm and mine sit 0.30 above the block so I need a thick 1.6 gasket. So you need to work out your compression ratio which should be between 8-8.5:1 using a calculator but ideally you would want a smaller gasket. Version 3 Sti heads are 46cc's! Pm merlin he can give you more info as he helped me
