04 wrx sti grinding / rubbing noise rear HELP !!
Changed the discs on the rear of my car with grooved discs , had a bit of a job gettin the discs off over the shoes for the handbrake but the past while I've noticed when I'm turning left are right at about 30+mph there's a grinding noise sounds like its coming from the back as if the discs are scraping are something , also the rear suspension will knock now and again and one of the rear tyres is getting quite a bit of wear on the outside of the tyre , anyone ever seen this before , 3 diff faults maby adding to the one problem ?

Sometimes there can be a build up of rust on the backplates which catch on some of the aftermarket discs. it probably just needs a bit of a clean up. Either that or the handbrake is to tight or the handbrake shoe retaining clips are broken off due to pulling them off without slackening them off
