Where have all the cats gone?

Not many years ago, you couldn't move for people selling standard cat down pipes for UK turbos, now when I need one there are none to be found. Where did they all go, were they weighed in for scrap or are they all spirited away in sheds and garages?

We have 2 ginger cats, one male one female.

Ill gladly give them away! The missus might not be too happy but im sure she would get over it
