Default Fly wheel and pressure plate

Hi - I need some help !? I am building a custom vw camper with a version 8 sti lump and need a subaru flywheel ( not the 240mm 6 speed that it comes with) I need a classic 230mm clutch 5 speed from a turbo one), but due to the clutch fork arm and bell housing clearance the flywheel can only be 20mm deep from crank face to the drive face (20mm thick ) it also needs to be 315mm O.D. ( Not 254mm)
I have an excedy 315mm one currently but this is 25 mm and when I spin it up the pressure plate ever so slightly catches on the fork arm I'm worried as the clutch wears down it will gradually rub more causing failure.

Another option would be to use a smaller clutch pressure plate that's 5mm or so shallower than the subaru one, is there another pressure plate that's compatible with a subaru fly wheel ? Or a combination of the two a thinner fly wheel and shallower pressure plate.
Many thanks

Would machining it down work?
I machine oem flywheels down to 6.5kg's for customers

How are you joining the gearbox and engine? I used the bellhousing conversion made by RJES, pretty sure that will work with and clutch/flywheel combo including 6 speed providing the correct 6 speed starter is used.

Why have you chose to go down that route? Must of been a lot more work installing that box in the bus. Good luck with it all though.

To handle the power the box is rated to 500bhp , as I've got a version 8 400bhp sti lump in thought be better then a stand vw box as it would strip it in no time

I am running an 091 6 rib box from a 2 litre bay with around 300bhp and even after a fair few drag runs and a lot of wheelying I've not blown it lol.
Be interested to see some more build info if you have any.
P.S I'm using the same engine so if you have any questions regarding wiring or anything else ask away.

Bit of a trek but I have a used STi flywheel (20,000 miles on it) out of a 5 speed that you are more than welcome to collect/get couriered? and the clutch if you want it for test fitting....
