Default Wastegate chatter

What's the best way to get waste gate chatter ? I currently have a large top mount on my bugeye with a hks DV...

If I blank it off is that the best way to get more chatter ?? Will it harm my engine ? I done it on my classic and sounded great

depends what turbo you have, its an ongoing debate, ran like it for years and no issues on any of my cars.

And it isnt called wastegate chatter, the most appropriate (if not again slightly misleading name) is compressor stall, (misleading because you never actually "stall" the compressor)

I binned off the std recirc, made a blanking plate for it and it drives a lot better. I found the car really jerky on gearchange with the dv on.

Mine is still on the poofy td04 tho.

Doesnt really chatter all that much tho as still got the standard intake on. Fit an induction kit and it will be a lot louder
