Help please fitting my recirc
Afternoon,
My issue:
Bought a fmic and want to keep the recirc or fit an ssqv (happy either way) - cant work out what bit of hose I need or adapter to fit said dv's.
Im new here and although I have done a lot of searching, I'm sure I will be "politely" directed to a flurry of existing posts on the same thing....So sorry to bore you.
What I cant deduce from all of the reading I have done is exactly what I need to fit my recirc or an ssqv to the fmic pipework.
HELP
I look forward to your advice.
Cheers,
Adrian
nb...and where can i get the parts (I think I know that I need a piece of reducing hose but how have others on here done it or bought the part)

Its actually a good question.
You can either buy an adaptor which fits to the intercooler piping and allows you to use your existing re-circulating valve. You will need some silicone pipie to connect the re-circulating part.
I have one of the Harvey Smith adaptors, was keeping it until going FMIC, since they are so rare these days. But, could sell it to you if you are interested?
Alternatively, you can go down the dump valve route (SSQV) and use a bung for the re-circulating part.
Here is a pic of my old FMIC set up, you can see my old recirculating valve (which was aftermarket, but the same as the OEM valve in functionality)
