I have a Impreza 2.0gx (RS in Germany), without turbo, 125HP made in 2005 (blobeye).
I have it for 2 years now, and from the very start I have problems with it.
The main problem that we can't solve is:
The car chokes till 2300rpm - like if something was holding him back, on 2300rpm the car "jumps" and starts gaining speed and rpm normaly. At 2300rpm there is only one strong hit, that is like if you were pulling something very heavy behind the car, and on 2300rpm you loose it (that's just what the feeling is like - so you can picture it better).
That happens in every gear, no matter if the car is cold or on working temperature. The car runs also on LPG, and the same thing appears with LPG and Gas.
If you reset the ECU, the car is runing normal till it's learning, sometimes it needs 2km, sometimes till 60, but as soon as you come to a hill and try to pass it, the car loses all the strengt and the power. No matter how strong you push the gas pedal. If you push the gas all the way down, it needs even more time to gain all the power and get to 2300 rpm. Almost no acceleration.

So far we changed:
CAT conwerter
Lamba sensors (both)
injectors were cleaned
ignition cables
ignition plugs

To cut it short: from start, till the border of 2300rpm, the car is a disaster.
