I had my ECU replaced on my MY00 Turbo, now the red light on the dash keeps flashing and the car runs fine. Is this anything to be concerned about?

A well known remapper but he doesn't understand why this happened. I know, red light should mean it is immobilised, it still works fine. I'm no expert but I'd guess it is therefore being bypassed.

Yeah, it would seem that way. I'm not really sure what you can do other than get an auto spark to look at it if you haven't got the tools/time/ability yourself. There are wiring diagrams available for free to show how everything should be connected up.

Cheers for that. When time allows I'll visit an autoelectics company to see what they think about it. I have to say the remap was great, just the flashing light bit to sort.
