Default Does this sound about right for painting?

Hi. Iv been quoted by a respected bodyshop around £1000 to sort the body/paintwork on my v5 type r. The work consists of

Both rear race has they have started to bubble
Paint the roof as it also is bubbling round the back window and front
The Bonnet as it's chipped/bubbling aswell
And to sort some tiny dents and scratches out on the front wings.

Just want to no how much you've paid for simular work, or if you work in the body repair industry to shed some light on how much I should expect to pay? I don't mind paying for a decent job. Cheers

Sounds cheap I was told 600 to get rid of my rust rear arch and sort all behind it and paint

Also if you have rust around the screen you may want to remove the screen after seeing Simons restoration ( silver Scooby sport ) if you haven't seen it flick through the last few pages as there are pics of what lies under the screen if its started to bubble, surprising really

I'd say it sounds pretty good as its not so much the work itself its the painting of the surrounding areas to get a colour match

That's a good price but you want to have the rust cut out rather than just "treated" and repainted if you plan on keeping the car, what colour is your vehicle? Worked in both bodyshops and smart repair vans.
