top radiator hose keeps busting
hi guys
thie is the second pipe to split since i've had the car .
its a 1995 legacy gt twin turbo
i did use a used pipe to replace the old split one but im panicing a bit that there lies a deeper more expensive problem , ?
i e-mailed one of the own owners ona swap site and he replied with "head gaskets gon temp gon turbo gon haha*
so i thought bah he's just a prat but in the back of my mind i'm worried about the HG, there's no oil in the water or water in the oil , there is a oil leak from the back of the engine and the top rad pipe keeps busting ,
the car hasn't missed a beat , sits nicely at half on the temp gauge .
things are very tight at the mo and a HG could be the final straw .
any tips /hints cuddles anything would be thankfully received lol
cheers guys .dai.

If you stuck a second hand hose on there's no telling how old it was, subaru's are known for blowing the top rad hose, i'd splash out on top and bottom silicone hoses and take it from there.
If it's any consolation mine did it last year and has been fine for 6000 miles, it bubbled in the middle and the fan blades cut it, spotted it straight away so no harm done.
