decat upipe 2005 wrx sti ??

Hi ive got a 2005 wrx sti and just wondering do i need to fit a decat uppipe as ive been told that the sti doesnt have a precat in the uppipe does anyone know for definite if this is true?

Hi Shaun yes that is correct newage STIs do not have a cat in the uppipe only the WRXs

and then only the new-age 2.0 WRX 01-05, no STi, classic or Hawkeye> WRX had them
