Default actuator adjustment

which way do you adjust to increase boost...what should it be like or feel like with clip off... V2 TD05....?

you dont increase boost as such, you are just setting the preload of it

good example here albeit not an impreza turbo but same principles apply

the valve that the rod clips to...when un clipped should it be loose?? mine just spins around??? is that normal??

ive been messing about with this trying to cure a fault etc, anyhoo, be careful, yes, you will increase boost but thats because you are applying preload tot he spring inside the actuator and the boost solenoid is programmed to operate the wastegate at certain pressures/times etc, once you apply preload you are effectivley messing up the duty cycles of the car and it will overboost but at the same time, run lean as its not fuelled for the extra boost, been there done that LOL

I haven't gone crazy....just gave it alittle tension like it should have...there was no tension at all...
