boost controller
do my standard 2006 sti blobs ecu have a boost controller built in or is an electronic boost controller id need to add? I do have a gizmo 1 left over from my mr2
I just fancy a little bit more power but nothing mad, so what would be a safe boost level if I can use my ebc?

The have a boost control solenoid which is controlled by the ecu.
You can fit your ebc to get more boost, however, i would strongly recommend not doing it, get your car mapped and the boost will be raised then, these cars need a map after every mod or tweek to retain reliability

The standard ECU can be mapped but 350 will cost you a fair amount of cash, these engines aren't tough like the 3S-GTE in the MR2.
Depends how much you have to spend really dude....
