hi guys, not sure if i have posted this in the correct section.

i was sat in a shed load of traffic today and noticed my revs kept creeping up from around 800 to 2K, tried to give it a few revs to see if it came down but nothing. as soon as the traffic cleared the revs dropped back to normal again.

ive only just replaced the MAF, which was causing a fuel cut feeling before.

any idea what the cause to the rev problem could be?

Could be your idle control valve. Lots of stuff on here about it
