Hi

I have just got hold of a 93 wrx import that has a TD05h turbo fitted and as a precaution I took it to a local DD rollers yesterday to make sure that the fueling etc was all ok and the only problem I came up against was the boost is coming in very late and peeks at 11.5 psi.

It gives positive boost at 2000 rpm but does not make full boost till 5500!

With the car sat on the drive just gently opening the throttle I can see the waste gate arm move all be it a small amount.

My initial reaction is to change the actuator am I going in the right direction???

check ecu, z4 lets u boost abit higher so maybe better for you.td05 boost does come in late but should hold well through high revs. depending on mods,remap etc.
