Removing air box resonator
#2
Correct me if I'm wrong but if your fitting another panel filter won't you need the air box?
If you fit an induction kit or CAI it can cause issues with the maf sensor.

I think he's referring to removing the resonator inside the wing?
Snorkel thingy takes air through a resonator in the wing, then into the airbox. You can remove the resonator so it goes direct into the airbox.

I think I have read before that it can cause some turbulence issues over the MAF removing it, though I know lots of folks have removed it.
There is really nothing to be gained from modifying the standard airbox/resonator arrangement, other than the filter itself before 400bhp on a blob/bug wrx or sti.
