Default Failing BCS??

Hi folks, I'm looking for a bit of advice from anyone that's ever had a BCS fail on them.

I've been having trouble with my classic massively overboosting and then oscillating a bit afterwards. I've finally sorted the oscillation to an extent.

I still have this huge overboosting though. I've got ESL installed and can change the duty cycle on the BCS and so on. Everything seems to be working as it should and all hoses are sound etc so could it be the BCS? It's a 2 port by the way.

What's your experiences of them failing?

I tried turning the wastegate duty cycle waaaay down to 48% from the stock 85% on spool up see what happened. On a 4th gear drag it didn't spike and stayed around the target pressure but was a bit unstable.

Then on a run up through the gears it spiked like hell, up to 1.5bar again
