Turbo and injector upgrade
I have just bought a vf35 and 550 injectors for my 2004 wrx and was wondering after fitting would i be able to drive it before mapping. The place i want to get it mapped is in kent and i live in north london so it would include motorway driving to there. Would this be possible or would it be better getting it put on the back of a truck?
Thanks for any answers

Neil is top draw he is building my engine as we speak, what I was going to suggest is why don't you just take your car there drop the turbo and injectors in while your there, and then get Neil to map it.SJ.

i would advise somebody like duncan (race dynamix) who can come to your house and do it there and then

I had quite a few upgrades fitted Inc STI inlet manifold with the tgv deletes on my wrx aswell as 650cc injectors,rcm340 pump,vf35,induction kit etc maybe that's why mine smoked a little

It'll be fine mate. I drove mine 100 miles to Andy Forrest after new turbo and injectors. As long as you stay off boost it'll run closed loop which will be fine for motorway cruising or tootling over to the mappers.

I fitted to my 03 WRX a bigger TMIC, 550cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump and decat up-pipe and I thrashed the hell out of it before mapping began. Fitted injectors last and it threw a CEL straight away.
I'm guessing bore wash would outweigh det.
