Default boost problem

Hi,ive just had a vf35 installed on my p1 but for some reason my boost is not going over 0.5. Checked for any leaks but its all sound...any ideas thanks

Are you mapped for that turbo?

Wastegate pressure is .5 bar, check its piped up correctly ;-)

No its not mapped yet..getting that done as soon as...there was a td04 on there prior to this one wich was hitting 1.2 bar without a map..its not erratic just stops at 0.5 bang on

Don't allow boost until it's mapped or you may wreck your engine. It may not boost properly until it's mapped properly.

Also, did you replace the lines to the boost solenoid? if so, did you remove and replace the pill?

+1 If there's no restrictor pill present you will be on actuator pressure.

Lol thanks lads..the restricter pill was on the wrong side...now its boosting...just waiting to get it mapped
