Default Exhaust problems, please help?

Fitted my new cobra cat back yesterday, resonated (apparently) centre section and 4.5" backbox. Obviously knew it was going to be loud c however it drones all the time, it's really quiet if I can keep revs steady on a flat road , but if my foot moves up or down on the throttle it starts droning like something else. You'd think with a res centre pipe it should cancel out drone and it's doing my head in, it fills the car with vibration like your ears have been muffled, different from the actual roar of the tailpipe. Any ideas why, what might I have done wrong?

Only thing I can think of is that I pulled the rubber hangers tight with a big zip tie around the rubber because they looked like they might slip out? Could this be why and I should let it hang looser? It's got me well down, sure you guys know what I mean when you fit something new and it doesn't go right

Thinks it just the exhaust buddy, I had a cobra before and soon as you pass 60mph on the motorway theres no point trying to talk to passengers lol they are loud buddy. Sometimes miss it, well when im in tunnels anyway lol

Fit a bung in your tail pipe mate, it will make it quieter, you should have a hole in your tail pipe ready to fit one. They just screw in. They sell them on ebay buddy.

I think I've sorted it, I chopped all the zip ties id put on with some scissors and took it for a spin and it's noticeably less drony, still loud but now it's the tailpipe burble you can hear not the overpowering hum, and it quitens down over a bigger rev range when cruising. I probably constricted it too much by giving it no room to swing lol. Much more acceptable now haha, might get a bung for long journeys lol cheers bud

No problem buddy, I found aslong as you keep it below 3000 rpm it pretty much ok. These sound awsone with rcm headers and up pipe hmmmm miss the sound now you got me wanting to order a back box off them now lol

Yep like that buddy. Should be a hole in your tail pipe put the long part down the tail pipe line up the hole on the bung and tail pipe and screw it up

Ever noticed using more fuel with a bigger system as opposed to stock? Might be in my head or maybe driving style changed cos I'm not used to the noise I guess
