550bhp twinscroll what will I need?

Default 550bhp twinscroll what will I need?

As above just bought a 2.0 fully forged engine with spec c heads and sump. Thinking of going twinscroll on the build now.. so what will I need and whats best?

Headers, turbo etc

Twinscroll headers, up pipe, downpipe, turbo and probably a good idea to upgrade your ecu (presuming your still on the oem my2005 sti)

Yes still on 05ecu... whats the best make of headers and turbo to go for?

OE Twin scroll headers are best Ryan

Try source better ECU,AlcaTek or Syvecs will and is preferable choice

Turbo for Twin scroll conversion LM480 or SC range,not sure if they making still SC50,MDX321V Twin scroll or speak with John@braveheart developments

You will never have such spool as JDM STI,you will need to have JDM big port heads with their cams preferably

this is the spec of engine that it will be going on
Semi-closed deck block bored to 92.5 mm with full plateau hone

Manley forged h beam con-rods with ARP bolts

True forged CP Promax race pistons, 92.5 mm with 3.5 thou running clearance.

Fully gapped CP rings

Tool steel lightened pins

ARP 11mm head studs

Brand new 12mm race oil pump

Genuine Subaru bearings

Spec C sump

Sti avcs heads fully custom ported and polished port pics added.

All new idlers

Gates timing belt

New WRC spec tensioner

New Race MLS 1.4 mm head gaskets

how much difference spool wise will i have between single and twin scroll on this engine?

Spool would be dependant on turbo. The spec c heads will help a lot with the midrange though

if i go twinscroll i have a
MD321T non billet
RCM GT Spec headers and up pipe to sell or possibly swap
