Default classic holding back on full throttle....?

hello all,
after taking my classic my 95 for a spin i noticed my car is holding back on full throttle, it's fine when i push 3/4 or half throttle...
when she holds back i hear a sputtering (don't know how else to discribe it) noise from my exhaust.
she has been sitting for a while, it's my summer/track car.
perhaps you guys have some ideas before i start taking her apart....

the engine related mods are :

my 2003 coilpack conversion
colder plugs
front mount hdi
pipercross dry induction
440's
flowed exhaust manifold
ported td05
esl mapped by paul blamire
zero sports decat 2.75 inch turbo back
newage mapsensor
complete new vacuumset

thank you

Spluttering sounds to me like spark. Had a similar issue after a remap on my last Impreza. Changed plugs, no better. Changed leads and coil, issue gone

You're not over posting are you? Checked all connections? Any error codes flashing up?

Sorry, over boosting. Bloody phone autocorrect

On my last classic, it was one coil on the top of the manifold with four female lead connectors. I changed the plugs first, still got the spluttering/chuffing at full boot.

Looked under the bonnet in darkness looking for sparks from cracks - nothing.

In the end under advice from my mapper I simply replaced the coil and 4 HT leads. Problem was then gone altogether.

That's if your issue is what I suffered, may be something different.
