Im throwing this out there and hopefully someone can help, for one the crank pulley bolt is being stubborn and wont undo so any ideas on that one would be great and im guessing it a normal thread left to undo? second of all just got a new timing belt for my scooby and its got arrows on it to show direction of travel but as i have the engine out on a stand i dunno which way it travels? does it go clockwise or anticlockwise?

If the engine is on a stand, can you make a simple tool to lock the fly wheel end? Ie a length of 5mm thick flat bar, drill holes and bolt on where flywheel bolts go. That will lock against the stand when you try to undo the pully nut.
Engine rotation is clockwise
