Question CDB Power Coating Advice

Hi Guy's,

What do you all think the best colour i should have my block power coated in?

Any advice welcome

Lighter colours good for spotting leaks and for visibility in the bay... looks smart too. But with all those bits of webbing on the casts could be hard to keep clean. Depends on the colour of the bay and car too.

I wouldn't powdercoat block as first,I would only paint block,not powdercoat

Yes painting or carbon dipping by the master of design and colour if you want to really brighten up your engine bay

Are you mad?

The coating will get everywhere including places you don't want it!!

Mask off and paint by all means ive done many like that. But I wouldn't be powder coating one.

+1 on this and the las thing you need is paint in a oil vane. mask off and paint with rattle cans or let a bodyshop do it

Thanks for all you comments guys i will look more into this i have had engines powder coated by this guy before and they have all been great very neat job but i will looking just painting it maybe you guy's are right and the subaru block is different to most others
