Does this simply get put in on a t piece on the vacuum between the boost solenoid and actuator where the boost pill is or at least anywhere central of that vacuum hose ?

Your electronic boost controller would come with its own boost solenoid that will replace the oem one

Which I'm guessing will register a CEL light once disconnected and replaced by the new boost controller that can't be connected into the existing wiring ?

Nope, you leave the OEM control solenoid valve plugged in, you just bung the ports. Well that's how mine was fitted anyway.

OEM 3 port is below the GReddy 3 port.

Just in case anyone is trying to install one of these this is what I had to do

Disconnect existing boost solenoid and cap it off.

The vacuum from the turbo itself went to the in of the boost controller valve and then from the out you put a vacuum pipe over to the actuator.

The attached t-piece goes as close to the inlet manifold as possible so I just put a t in the vacuum coming off the dump valve and this worked spot on !

Plugged in a switched live from the stereo and also a neg and all was good ! Works a treat, I can now choose from 4 preset boost levels lowest being 0.5 to my highest being 1.5

All in all really easy
