Default uk2000 turbo upgrade

Ok so thinking of ditching the td04 and sticking something else on can anyone shed some light on what I need and what turbo is best to go for.

Td05 or a vf.

Cheers

putting a TD05 on mine, good for up to 350bhp and generally more robust than the vf's

Hang on....some of these aren't mappable without a new ECU or at least a daughterboard.

And surely NO-ONE would be soft enough to start modding a SCOOBY without getting the map done? Would they?

I think the op is asking about turbos and pretty much knows that it will need mapping afterwards ..

if not then the op should read all comments ..uk turbo 2000 i think is ecutek only at £550 ...

for the price of the remap i would do exhaust, sports cat or decat, better top mount or front mount ,turbo as said, airfilter either panel or induction ,uprated fuel pump,3 port boost solinoid

i did all the above on a tdo5 16g and got 325bhp

to get the best out of the price of £550 for remap

if its 99-00 you can get an ecutek remap, earlier ones need a stand alone ecu or esl

Pre 99 ECUs aren't flashable so you need to add a daughterboard to remap them. 295GBP+VAT for ESL, MAFless, twinmap, knock control, diagnostics, 3d boost control, etc etc and ALS, LC, Flatshift and TC as extras if required.
