Default Help with a noise!

Got in my car this evening and noticed what I can only describe as a "whirring" noise coming from the engine. Investigating, it looks like its coming from a belt near the front of the engine? Or at least the circular mechanism it spins on. Unfortunately I've got no clue what this belt does! Or how much it's gonna be to fix, I coaxed it home but even when it was warm it was still doing it. I've taken a video, so perhaps one of you smart people can help!

I'll more than likely be getting it into my mechanics tomorrow, but I always like a couple of opinions

Ignore the piston slap, she was cold as anything when I took the vid .

If another video is needed, happy to produce!

Thanks guys.

air con pulley?

if the air con is on, turn it off and see if the noise stops. if so turn it on and see if noise comes back.

Thanks for the replies all, really useful indeed! Getting the aircon tensioner replaced as I type this. Taking off the belts it was pretty squeaky and awful when turned by hand, hopefully this sorts it!
