Help please has any one got a clutch alignment tool for a impreza I can borrow I am desperate have the clutch back on but can't get the gear box back in. As I haven't got the correct tool I am unsure if it is right. I am located in Westbury, Wiltshire

Sometimes it is quite hard to get them back together takes quite a bit of jiggling

 

You may also have to put the box in gear and spin one of the driveshafts till the clutch splines line up.

 

I have been out there all day trying to get it back together and I just will not go.

 

Very easy to make a alignment tool with a socket & extension

 

Broken input shafts work well.

 

have just done same job the other week was abit of a git to get back together!!!. i also made my own alignment tool.
