Default Water leak.

Hi, I've got a bugeye jap Sti Limited and I have some steam coming out from under the bonnet intermittently on the drivers side. I can hear something hitting the exhaust/ turbo area, but the car isn't losing water and the coolant isn't contaminated . The car has an intercooler water spray function and I'm wondering if it may be some of this spray that is getting through the intercooler and dripping down. Has anyone else had this or heard of this before? I want to pull the fuse from the intercooler spray pump but I don't know which fuse it is. I presume its fed from the fuses behind the coin holder but the legend on the back is in Japanese, can anyone point out which fuse I need to pull to kill the pump to check it?

Thanks, Rob.

Could be just condensation under the bonnet, water from the road etc, or rain which can get in via the scoop or the vents.

Mine has no undertray, and steams like Mallard for the first few miles in this weather!

Hi, thanks for the reply, it turned out that the metal water pipe on the bottom of the turbo wasn't seated properly and was leaking under pressure.

All sorted now so i can drive it with confidence

Was about to say squeeze the turbo water feed pipe where it joins the header. Mine was weeping from there under pressure due to the paint on the pipe outlet bubbling up causing a poor seal.

Rubbed down and refitted. No issues
