hi guys iv done a search but can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for
now I have an 05 subaru sti with a 1 button remote and a keypad by drivers knee now I don't have the pin code for it and only one remote now I know there is a way to access the other functions of the alarm like super lock and valet mode but I don't know how
I would also like to change the code !!
in case my fob stops working
how do I find out what alarm I got ?
thanks in advance guys

The code is on the very back page of the security system booklet (assuming it's still got the original code) in the drivers handbook. There are also instructions on how to change the code, just be sure to change the code in the back of the book so future owners will know what it is! Personally I plan on ripping my standard alarm/immobiliser out and fitting an aftermarket one.

My solution is fit a new alarm/immobiliser and get 2 new keys cut. The added bonus is you'll be rid of that monstrosity of a key!!

I would've thought you'd need to know the existing pin in order to change the pin, otherwise anybody could put whatever pin they liked in to deactivate the immobiliser...
(edit) just read that other thread, 30 seconds isn't much time to change it really, especially as the keypad is pretty fiddly! I've hands like shovels though lol
