have this boost controller in my 2006sti
when mapped car was making 1.8bar trailing to 1.7
i can now only get actuator pressure 1.2bar unless i adjust actuator
do the grimmspeed boost solenoids buzz when ignition is on as mine is silent and does anyone know what voltage shd be going to it with ignition on tks

I have a grimmspeed one on my hatch, it doesn't make any noises unless the check connectors are plugged in then its cycles back and forth.

wouldn't rule out that its sticking, join the green connectors under the dash and flush it with some wd40 and see how you fair after that

do the 2006 models have these connectors??
its def got 10.5v dc going to connector as ive tested it but at rest i can blow thru compressor end of pipe and there is no resistance at the actuator end of pipe
to my thinking at rest the solenoid shd be closed to actuator allowing boost to build and then at target boost open the wastegaste
also i have simtek ecu so dont think the green connectors have a function
