out of curiosity how long does it take for a Subaru mechanic to replace a rear wheel bearing on a 2006 hawkeye sti? I will be getting it done soon

ive just gave it to a mate to do whose a Halfords mechanic and he had it for about 2.5hrs....said he couldn't get a shaft out or something...said all the nuts and bolts had ceased also so he had to reassemble it and hes going to finish it next sunday...im abit worried now hes gunna f**k it up

Its a pressed in bearing on a classic much more labour intensive about 3hours
approx 30 mins on a hawk onwards as long as the brembo bolts come out and the drive shaft pushes out of course.
when you fit a few its very quick and painless. just the hub costs a fortune
really is a quick process
