Default UK spec versus American USDM models

My 2.0 RX is basically a WRX, but with a 2.0 engine. Put mine & a WRX side by side & the only visible difference is no bonnet scoop. Measurements are apparantly the same for both.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in size/measurements between an American 2008 hatchback WRX & a UK spec 2.0 RX.

Found an American company who make strut braces for the 2008 hatch Impreza, but would they fit mine?

how can it be the same, if it has no bonnet scoop it has no turbo, so is nothing like a wrx.

Hatches are not all the same, not even the WRX's as some are widetrack like the STi version (G22) (WRX-S for example.)

Looking on google it would appear the early US ones were of the narrow (G12) style.

AFAIK 08 on Strut braces fits either.

Why look to America when SUMMIT and Whiteline do ones available here.........

and no doubt Cusco and others can be found.

Was looking for UK suppliers but not many seem to do parts for hatches, but kept coming across American websites. Thanks for link to websites, I'll be having a look later.

What I was getting at is I'm sure the RX has the same body shell as the WRX. If that is the case then any engine mountings should be the same.
