Compleatly Draining coolant...
Think I have a airlock somewhere in the system on my v5 type r, I have tried 3 coolant changes and it has not resolved the issue via back filling.
I have only drained using the bottom rad hose so with this approach not working I want to drain the whole system and see if it makes any difference.
Just wanted a list of all pipes that I should be undoing or if there are any more besides the ones on my list below..
I'm thinking...
Removing bottom rad hose and thermostat...
The lines that run through the bulkhead to matrix ( can I blow through this once drained ? )
Turbo coolant line
Is there anymore pipework I should be checking and should I be able to blow through these hoses without resistance once drained.
Many thanks

What makes you think it's an airlock?
Have you cleaned it out and back-flushed?
Used a proprietory cleaner?
Checked that the water pump is working? One fault here is that the impeller comes adrift from it's shaft...the shaft turns but does nothing.

I had no issues prior to changing the turbo.... Since then I have done 3 coolant changes, swapped turbos to a vf28 to make sure the turbo wasn't at fault and bought a sniff tester which came back as negative.. So I'm starting to clutch at straws
Would u be kind enough to explain the best way of cleaning / back flushing the system
Also
Is there anyway of checking the water pump without having to take the thing off ?

Simply fill up using an accepted method with a proprietory cleaner, run for the stated time, drain, insert hose into bottom hose and back flush.
Then refill with proper anti=freeze mix.
And in answer to the second question, not really, sorry.
