Default Hayward & Scott Group Buy - spaces for extra orders.

Right guys, a few people have dropped out of the Hayward and Scott group buy once it closed. So there are some spaces for new orders. All of the items and prices will be the same as per the last group buy so if you need anything please ask.

Please start the list here and thanks for taking part.

Guys,

got a 05-WRX300 with PPP looking at what I can do keeping the PPP bits of my exhaust system and keeping it emissions (MOT) friendly.

Sports cat downpipe? and cat pipe section ? to join this section to the Prodrive middle section and backbox.

Does that make sense!? I take it if I fit this I don't need a remap. Dont want to get into that game on a 6month old car.

Gus
PS Sorry for all the questions! a bit new to the exhaust side of things.

If you have had a full PPP you should have a 100 cell cat fitted as part of the up grade,If not then this is the way to go for max performance and mot friendly.

Sorry to sound grumpy but if you want to organise a gb with a different supplier, please post in it's own thread.

if you're trying to suggest that h&s don't know what they are doing with exhausts then you'll only need to look at the previous group buy thread to see how popular they are which is proof they of course, without a doubt do.

thanks,

matt.

yes. you'll need to have a cat to pass an mot now. it looks like the days of giving the local friendly tester a drink to ingnor the fact it hasn't got a cat on it have gone.

the high flow sports cat dp that h&s offer will pass the mot tests and it will only cost you 2hp in power over the decat dp.

cheers

Hi there,

Got my Jap style back box in the group buy and absolutely love it .... the looks and the noise!!

.... but wondered if it was possible to obtain a "bung" (same sort of thing as the one that comes with the Nur Spec R) for motorway driving .... cause I dont think my girlfriend is going to stay my girlfriend, if she has to sit in the car when we go on holiday!! .... 180 miles of motorway driving!

Thanks.

no probs

it's a better option than what i was going to do. was going to have the back seats, carpet and spare wheel out then cover it all in sound deadening. this was we can have them loud when we want and then a bit quieter when we need to.

I would also like to add that the quality and service from H&S is second to none .... ive had a H&S centre and D/P for a few years now and just got my Jap style back box and the difference this system has made to the car in terms of performance, sound and looks, is just amazing .... wouldnt swap it for anything!!

Oh, and I can also whole-heartedly vouch for H&S in terms of quality and service. IMHO these are THE people for Scooby exhausts.

Hi
In the pricing post it reads:

Centre section
£60-00 + Vat

Cat Pipes (newage)
£75-00 + Vat.

Does this information refer to the two piece centre section that is required for a newage car? If not, can I have a price please? Many thanks

More noob questions:

I have a UK MY02 STi, with standard exhaust apart from a TSL Firestorm backbox. I want to replace the current two catted sections with a single sports cat. I take it that means I need a catted downpipe and a New Age cat pipe? I also take it that there's no problem mating the new cat pipe to the standard 2.5" centre section? And is this kit 3" or 2.5"?

If the respective answers are yes, no and yes then I'll take one each catted downpipe for a New Age and New Age cat pipe, but otherwise, sorry.

How do I pay?

M

To save money we now do a one piece down pipe that removes both cats and will link directly on to your centre. With a cat this costs( GB price ) £450 +vat The pipe is 3" and is coned down gradually at the end to 2.5".To order and pay if you can ring Dawn ( 10 -2 ) and give her your details .

Thank you

Thanks Ian. Next noob question: that is a single pipe with a sports cat? Sorry to be picky, but I just want to be clear. If it is I'll call you guys on Monday. And does it have a part number, or will Dawn know what I'm talking about?

Cheers

Ian, is the tailpipe on the original scooby design 3", 3.5" or 4" (or do I pick?) - looked on the H&S website, but cant find that info. Also, can you give me a price for P&P on downpipe, decat centre and backbox please.
Many Thanks.
