CDF Racing wheel spacer group buy
Have spoke to Chris @ CDF Racing and he is willing to do a group buy on these.
What you get is a set of 4 spacers made to your required thickness.
£160 is the usual discounted members price
If we can get 5-10 takers then they come down to £30+vat per spacer - so £141.
Get your names down:
1, C8 DHC 04WRX - 20mm thick 5x100
2, SCOOBYDOG63 Not sure what thickness but want 100pcd to 114,5 if possible
3, SCUBBAY 5X100-5x114.5 set here too
4, Tone Loc - taking measurements + requires longer studs
5, wrx9181 - 20f and 12-15r

Could be interested, what is the smallest thickness that these can be had in. I was thinking of 10mm (i.e making wheels ET45mm) but i don't think that would be thick enough for the bolt on type.
These would be for a hatch STi with the optional 18" 5 spoke, not sure if the back of these have a recess or not??

20mm is the smaller hubcentric spacers we do

Damm... too thick for me.
Do you have any plans to do non bolt on type, like Eibach's system 6 spacers. I.e say 10mm hub centric spacer that slips onto the existing stud locations (studs replaced with longer items). Maybe even 7mm would be ok for me, ET48mm seemed a great comprimise on my old Imprezas. The hatch should benefit form similar offset tho.

I have asked chris to make mine different to above which he said they can do.
I want to use longer studs and do away with the extra bolts as shown on those above. I do however still want a recess around the stud so that I can fit a nut to hold the spacers on (think the nuts will have to be quite slim to achieve this)
If this way of doing things is popular then we will have a look into getting a good deal on some longer studs - got any contacts for these chris?

Interested - what thickness can I run on an 04 STi with standard 17 inch rims without looking daft? What does a 10 and 20mm spacer equate to in offset? I love the look of ET30/38 offset rims...

no need to change discs as your PCD will not change on the hubs only the spacer.
ive had 40mm on the front but ive tried 30mm on rear and unless you roll arches you have issues

Guys,
There are many benfits for having these spacers,
Wider look
Better traction
less chance of rolling
changing pcd - different alloys
This is a very good price we are offering here, we do make these fot other companies that retail them for over £150 per pair

These are the 40mm I got but its to much on the rear of a lowered car. i think 15-25mm max at rear then your need arch work.
I can vouch for the quality of these items from CDF

Yeah spot on. ive now got 30mm on front which brings the tyre in on the front to legal limit.
Due to the rubbing on rear they have been removed hence my question at begining about how small they can go.
Stretch would work but then again i didnt have money for new tyres at time (why i changed size etc)
Just thought id show pics of them fitted as people asked. I can get one of the 30mm fitted to the front if someone wants?

Would the 5X100-5x114.5 20mm spacers enable you to run the 2005 onward STi wheels on an earlier newage STi, or would the spacers make the wheels stick out too far ??
I take it the spacer would bolt to the hub, then the wheel fits on to studs on the spacer ?
Any pics of a car with 20mm spacers on ?

This is a pic of the 30mm fitted to front. You can see no spacers at rear.
thinking i need the longer studs at rear and just have a floating 20mm spacer.
Not best of pic but you can see the big difference from first pics plus its legal now.
The minimum thickness you can go on these spacers is 26mm. This is because the hub studs are 25mm
Unless you have alloys with a recess or change the hub studs for smaller ones like Chris suggested.
