necvox tv screen
#1
I've just bought a Necvox DA 1025 off E-bay. When it arrived the plugs were missing off the ends of the leads. The white multi block connectors are there, but no s-video connectors/composite/rca on the other end.
Anyone have any idea where i could get some new leads or if i could get new plugs fitted to the present leads??
Cheers
Mark
Edited to say that if anyone has a bit more knowledge than me and wants to buy this screen for the 98.50 i paid for it then let me know!!

hi mate,
The multi-block normally carries power, ground, 2 diversity antenna connections and a hand brake sense wire. How many cables are there?
A quick googling gives this page.
You should have two video inputs and one output too...
If you're getting nowhere, drop a mail to the mail address on the link above, as that appears to be the manufacturers.
I've just found the auction (fhmreader ) and it looks like you're on your own for support from them - sold as seen. Can u post a pic of the back of the unit and we'll see what we can work out...
I'm oop north too, in yorkshire. I'm sure we can get this working . BTW, good price
Good luck!
Nick.

The e-mail addresss above dont work mate!!!
Here are the block connectors and the back of the screen. I'm suspecting the thicker wires on the right hand block are for rca but input or output i dont know!!
Here are the colours of the wires on each multi block.
1/
green blue purple grey pink light blue
Red Black Brown Orange Yellow White
2/
Blue Purple Grey White (White) Pink Light Green Light Blue
Green Yellow Orange (Black) Red Black/Red Brown
The Black/Red Wires go into one thicker lead to make an RCA
As do the (White) and (Black) highlighted
(Edited to say that Red on Multiblock 1 is earth. Light Blue is Battery and White is Accessory, I took the back off the unit and loooked at the circuit board!! Sure enough the screen slides in and out spot on!!)
Also the Wires on Multiblock 2 are thinner than those on 1 making me think that 1/ is the power connector and 2/ is the signal.
I am only connecting a PS2 to this screen at the moment, so if i culd get one input working that'd do me like!!!
Cheers
Mark

Looks a lot like you're getting there mate. I'd continue tracing the circuits and see where that gets you, or try mailing anyone who sells these. There's a company in australia that may be able to help - seriously!
