wiring issue

i am trying to decide wether to keep or buy an alpine cva_1003r (up for sale in sale forum) but just in case i want to keep it How do i wire up the wire that is meant for the handbrake if i awnat the screen viewable at all times of course only when i am not driving.

Probably just connect it to ground.

Yup - that's all you need do. The "sensor" wire just checks for a grounded connection. At least, it does on my IVA-M700R (the predecessor model). As with all good installations, I've simply wired that into my earthing block and job's a good'un

yup thats what i did, ive just fitted one in a MY02, earth it and it will be fine!
