Sony minidisc? That'll be an after market add-on at a guess..

The only cd changers for a sony minidisc unit will be sony.

U sure on a P1

I have been in two P1's at opposite ends of the country, and they both had the same Sony Minidisc header unit, and I was informed by the dealer that this was as standard on the P1

I know u can mix & match certain changers & header units, but if this would work, then my mate gets a cd multi changer FOC

AFAIK the P1 didnt even come with any stereo as standard. You either chose a VDO headnunit from the Subaru catalogue or put ur own headunit in - most peeps did the latter as VDO are nothing special.

Just spoke to my mate,

It is the Sony MDX-C800 Header Unit

He says it has a single DIN, (cos he was looking at Sat Nav the other day)

I think, if I remember rightly that the Philips Changer is the old style DB2

Would these two be compatible or not ?

No. The sony uses unilink protocol, the Philips doesn't.

I've just bought a Sony T69 changer for my wife's car from mcs-direct for a storming price - 132 quid - including the adaptor to make it work in a Clio with the factory head unit.

The T69 on its own is 99 quid from them.

Fast efficient service. They're signed up to scoobyshop but have yet to get their products on there...
